Experienced Native English Teacher living in London. Previously lived in Moscow for 5 years now and during this time I had been teaching English part time mainly to children between the ages of 6−18 years old. I worked with children since I was in college, this included working as a babysitter in England and also working at my family’s school that my mother owns on the Caribbean island of Saint Vincent. Working with children continued when I moved to Moscow, while living with a Russian family for the summer of 2012, I received training in the Montessori method of teaching and this is where my love for teaching English as a second language began. Since then I have been teaching children part time whether it be long term or short term. I have my regular students that I have been teaching for years and it is truly a pleasure to see their progress. I always have different kinds of students and I always find a way of connecting with each individual student in a unique way so that we are both comfortable, this is the most important thing for me while teaching so that the student is relaxed and able to learn the language naturally. I can happily say that my years of experience have definitely qualified me to teach English as a second language and I will be very happy to find more students to invest my time into.
